I don't care about twitter trends. But, that anon was kinda right. Twitter trends have became a sign to how popular or important a person or a thing is. That Yahoo interview after the live stream at the beginning of it they talked about how it was trending and to be honest although shake it off was a new song it only trended for few hours, other artists like those boybands get top trend for a whole day for the dumbest things. I fear our absence from twitter might harm the voting next year

Taylor sells more albums and singles than those who are trending all the time like…. everyday. Just because she doesn’t trend all the time and for a whole day does not mean that she is not popular. I feel like Taylor’s fans (most of us) don’t really compete to get Taylor’s attention (personal opinion) and also most of us can’t be bothered to talk about shit dumb stuff and just random stuff that Taylor does…

but we do talk about dumb stuff taylor does… endlessly actually. And them we bring it up again 6 months later.
But like most of her fans aren’t too concern with trying to make taylor trend. If she does then woo-ho! but we rarely strive to make a trend. When we do it’s probably something huge and worth trending that involves taylor’s career.
No one questions Taylor’s popularity. Her career successes speak for themselves.

One time in sixth grade I was being bullied really badly, and this whole circle of people gathered around me and the girl that was bullying me, and she smirked and went ‘You dumb rich bitch.’ And everyone was like OOOOOOH and I stood there for a second before pulling 20 dollars out of my wallet, placed it in her hand, and said “Buy some better insults.” And I swear the entire lunchroom rioted.
